Tracy and I love Nashville.   We went to Nashville for CMA Music Festival in June, 2017 and returning every year as this is bucket list kind of fun.   However, we made the best of the trip and awesome restaurants and we will find more this next year.

If you go to Nashville, you must hit Broadway for entertainment.  For restaurants, Tracy and I recommend the following:

Breakfast:

Biscuit Love is a must.   Get there early as there are no reservations accepted.  There will be a line outside the door, but it is worth the wait!

Frothy Monkey has multiple locations and is very casual.   The breakfast is excellent.

Pinewood Social is a great place for brunch and if you fell like bowling, you can.

Lunch:

Merchants - This restaurant is in the heart of downtown.   We highly recommend for lunch and dinner.

Dinner:

Puckett's - If visiting Nashville, you must make a visit.  It is a classic within Nashville.  It is casual food restaurant which has musicians play there.   Emily Minor played the night we were there.

Husk - When in Nashville, call ahead and get a reservation at Husk.  It is fine dining in an old historic home.

Watermark -  This restaurant was formally in the Gulch area.  They are moving location to downtown Nashville.

Josephine - It is a great restaurant on S 12th street.  It is contemporary restaurant featuring farmhouse cuisine.

Southern -  Excellent steakhouse in downtown Nashville.  This is a must go when visiting Nashville.   Plan in advance as a reservation is needed.
